There are over 25,000 Realtors in the East Metro Area of Atlanta. There are part-time agents, teams with many team members, team leaders, new agents, and experienced agents; a few agents do many transactions and many who do very few. So how do you choose among them?

Experience – You want your advocate, the one who is going to lead you through a sale or a purchase, to know what they are doing. There is no substitute for training, experience, and completing many transactions and showings in this market. I have been a Full-time successful realtor in East Metro Atlanta since 2003. Born in Dekalb County, raised in Gwinnett County, for the next 30 years, I have lived in Newton County. An active community leader in Rockdale, and Walton Counties, the area we call the East Metro Atlanta market. I have helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes within the area. I purchased RE/MAX Around Atlanta East as the Broker in 2006 and have closed over 110 million dollars in real estate. I weathered the housing crash of 2007 to 2017, spending 10 years selling bank foreclosures and helping sellers navigate short sales when many of my peers gave up real estate.  I believe real estate is a people-to-people business, and communication is key to a successful sale. – Time and again, national surveys show that the most important attribute of a real estate agent to buyers and sellers is their degree of trustworthiness.  To me, integrity is the basis of my business. Earning my client's trust and treating all parties in the transaction honestly is my cornerstone.  My peers have asked me to serve in many leadership roles. An officer in local realtor boards, appointed as a member on the Board of Directors for Project Renewal, served on the Newton County Board of Tax Equalization for over 15 years. Also elected and served as a County Commissioner for Newton County in 1998.

Knowledge –
The best way to succeed in the real estate market is to get expert advice; this is why you need ME! The list of things you need to know is long. It includes market conditions, neighborhoods, schools, housing defects, needed inspections, handling multiple offers, the timing of listings, financing, etc. I can speak with firsthand knowledge about each of these topics. Proud to hold many honors and certifications from the National Association of Realtors in additional training for Sellers. I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seller Representative Specialist SRS, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and Negotiation Expert. Less than 1% of the Realtors in the United States have these certifications and training. I pride myself on ongoing education and staying on top of market changes, trends, and technology (Other honors include SFR, ABR, Training Lic. GREC).
